About Me
Hello! My name is Eric. I hold a Doctorate in Counselor Education from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding School of Theology. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and Arkansas and have over a decade of experience in working with individual, couples, and families in counseling. I am certified in Prepare/Enrich (Pre-Marital and Marital Counseling Tool) and have additional training in working with couples. I also have extensive experience helping executive leaders gain clarity on how their stories shape their leadership, navigate complex workplace dynamics, and build resilience against burnout.
An Integrative Approach
My role as a counselor is to provide individuals, couples, and families with support and guidance for the normal and extraordinary ups and downs of life. My counseling approach includes an integration of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and narrative therapies. The underlying theme in each of these approaches is focusing on the way you think about the world, yourself, and others. In exploring our perceptions, the possibilities and opportunities to re-author our lives and relationships begins. My training also provides me with skills in faith-based counseling through the integration of Christian theology and counseling, as a client so requests.
